<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner that can hold constant the array angle of the image forming spots of a plurality of synthesized light sources and that can easily switch printing dots, and also to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with this scanner. <P>SOLUTION: In this invention, a light synthesizing unit 10 and a light receiving means 24 are structured such that the optical axis of a first synthetic light beam 21 is relatively inclined so that the image forming spot of the first synthetic light beam 21 is situated in the center of the light receiving elements 42, 42a, 42b that are installed in the light receiving means 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
