PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make more effective use of function modules composing a calculator. SOLUTION: A data processor 3 connects to function modules 2 via a function module connection control part 7 and to a network 4 via a network connection control part 9. Since a self-introduction part 8 discloses the disclosure data of the function modules 2 on the network 4, a user to use the calculator 1 can select any function modules 2 from all the function modules 2 connected to the network 4. The setting data of the calculator 1 is written into the setting data storage part 17 of each function module 2 selected, whereby the function modules selected can operate as the calculator 1.
