PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for accurately transmitting information by using optical signals as medium between circuit boards. SOLUTION: A fixing member 10 fixes a plurality of circuit boards 20 at prescribed intervals, and an optical communication path is provided between the circuit boards 20. The fixing member 10 is provided with a main body 15, and an optical waveguide 12 penetrating the main body 15. The fixing member 10 is further provided with a light receiving section 50 and a light emitting section 40. The fixing member 10 permits the optical signals, which are transmitted from one circuit board 20 and received by another circuit board 20, to propagate in the optical waveguide 12 of the fixing member 10.
