PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high variable magnification zoom lens capable of effectively correcting aberrations over the entire variable magnification area. SOLUTION: The high variable magnification zoom lens has a first lens group 110 having positive refractive power, a second lens group 120 having negative refractive power, a third lens group 130 having positive refractive power and a fourth lens group 140 having positive refractive power in order from the object side. Particularly, the third lens group 130 includes positive lenses 131 and 132, a positive meniscus lens 133 having a large curvature radius on the image face side, and a negative lens 134, which are arranged in order from the object side.
