Disclosed are compounds of Formula 1, including all geometric and stereoisomers N-oxides, and salts thereof; wherein Z is N or CR²; R¹ is cyano; or C₁-C₆ alkyl, C₂-C₆ alkenyl, C₂-C₆ alkynyl, C₃-C₆ cycloalkyl, C₄-C₇ alkylcycloalkyl or C₄-C₇ cycloalkylalkyl, each optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R¹⁷; R³ is H, cyano or -CHO; or C₁-C₆ alkyl, C₂-C₆ alkenyl, C₂-C₆ alkynyl, C₃-C₆ cycloalkyl, C₄-C₇ alkylcycloalkyl, C₄-C₇ cycloalkylalkyl, phenyl, C₂-C₆ alkylcarbonyl, C₂-C₆ alkoxycarbonyl, C₂-C₆ alkylaminocarbonyl or C₃-C₉ dialkylaminocarbonyl, each optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from R¹⁸; Q is a 5- or 6-membered saturated or unsaturated heterocycle optionally substituted; or Q is C(O)NR¹²R¹³, C(S)NR¹²R¹³, S(O)2NR¹⁴R¹⁵ or R¹⁶. Also disclosed are compositions containing the compounds of Formula 1 and methods for controlling an invertebrate pest comprising contacting the invertebrate pest or its environment with a biologically effective amount of a compound or a composition of the invention.
