METHOD FOR MONITORING OF TREATMENT EFFECTIVENESS IN PATIENTS SUFFERING FROM MEDIUM AND SEVERE BRONCHIAL ASTHMA

A method for monitoring of treatment effectiveness in patients suffering from the medium and severe bronchial asthma consists in the performing of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid test for the determination of proinflammatory cytokine content prior to and after treatment. Moisture condensate of expired air is used for the test. The offered method is simple and non-invasive.
