<p>The invention relates to a server/client based content management system for managing mobile content, such as ringtones, applications, images, video and audio. The system includes a brokering service which allows clients to perform as content resellers, i.e. content providers for content which has originally been provided by content rights owners. The system also generates bills and invoices and manages royalty collection between the content data owner and clients of the system. To this end, the system comprises a communication network, a content management server operatively connected to the network, a first client computer operatively connected to the network, a second client computer operatively connected to the network, and a mobile terminal operatively connected to the network. The content management server is configured for receiving content data and price data indicating a price demand associated with the content data from a content rights owner at the first client computer. The server is further configured for making information about the content and the associated price data available to clients on the network, including a content reseller at the second client computer. The server is further configured for receiving a reselling request from the content reseller at the second client computer, and for transmitting a reselling accept to the content reseller at the second client computer.</p> |
