摘要 An apparatus and a method for removing pilot interference by using a Cazac code in multiple base station environment are provided to maintain pilot orthogonality between base stations by removing interference according to correlation between the Cazac codes by removing a simple matrix computation through interference removers, thereby improving the performance of channel estimation. An apparatus for removing pilot interference between base stations comprises k correlators and k interference removers. The k correlators perform correlation computation while cyclic-shifting the hermitian conjugate of a k-numbered pilot pattern of a receiving vector and all base stations having interference. The k interference removers are separately connected to the k correlators, and perform the multiplication of a computation result value inputted from a corresponding correlator and a reverse matrix to output channel components where the interference of each base station is removed.
