A system for controlling filter beds of a water treatment apparatus is provided to need no panel control devices for the filter beds, thereby reducing the cost for installing the panel control devices and decreasing the consumption power for operating the panel control devices. A system(200) for controlling filer beds(210-1,210-2,210-n) comprises motor controlling units(220-1,220-2,220-n) and a spot distribution and monitor controlling unit(230). The motor controlling units operate pumps of the filter beds, and valve driving motors for opening and closing valves of the filter beds. The spot distribution and monitor controlling unit outputs a control signal corresponding to a control command transmitted to one of the motor controlling units. The spot distribution and monitor controlling unit receives operation state information from respective filter beds. The spot distribution and monitor controlling unit provides the received operation state information to a mobile terminal device, responding to a request of the mobile terminal device.
