FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: assembly to couple the compressor rotor to that of the gas turbine engine contains the interconnected compressor and turbine shafts. Axially, the compressor and turbine shafts are coupled by a tie pipe and, peripherally, both are connected by means of a spring in contact with the compressor and turbine shaft inner surfaces via splined joints and O-rings .The aforesaid surfaces have collars to limit the spring axial travel. The spring ends diameter is made smaller than the spline inner diameter, and O-rings are arranged on the aforesaid ends. ^ EFFECT: higher accuracy of spring manufacture and lower misbalance of the joint assembly. ^ 1 dwg |
