发明名称 MANUFACTURING METHOD OF ELECTRODE FOR LITHIUM CELL
摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in manufacturing an electrode for a lithium cell by combining a roll-to-roll method and a vacuum process that bumping of deposition materials takes place in case a vacuum deposition method is applied as the vacuum process to have protrusions formed on the surface of the electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method consists of a first process of forming an active material film storing and releasing lithium on a collector foil in the vacuum process, and a second process of removing the protrusions on the surface of the active material film with a blade having a linear blade tip, the latter being a process of removing the protrusions by moving the active material film with the linear blade tip set at a given distance from the surface of the active material film. Since the protrusions are removed before the active material film is wound into a roll after being formed on the collector foil in the above manufacturing method, the collector foil and the active material film are prevented from getting damaged by the protrusions. Moreover, there is no fear of inner short circuiting caused by the protrusions penetrating through the separator, in manufacturing the battery with the use of the electrode obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
