METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SELECTIVELY ENABLING RECEPTION OF DOWNLINK SIGNALING CHANNELS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device used for selectively enabling reception of at least one DL EU signaling channels established between a WTRU and node B in wireless communication system including a WTRU and at least one node B.

SOLUTION: During operation of E-DCH, a WTRU monitors at least one DL EU signaling channel established between the WTRU and node B based on the information of at least one standard procedure owned by itself. The WTRU adjusts and integrates the DL signaling channel reception requirement of a plurality of channel assignment procedures and/or data transmission procedure executed by the WTRU according to an established standard procedure. The WTRU judges whether reception of at least one specific DL signaling channel is made effective or not based on the integrated DL signaling channel reception requirement.
