PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user himself/herself to easily, efficiently and surely execute program rewrite processing. SOLUTION: One of duplicated rewrite programs is used to be able to easily, efficiently and surely execute the program rewrite processing by providing a flash ROM 31 comprising: a main area for storing a normal operation program for executing prescribed processing and a rewrite program for updating the normal operation program; and a subarea for storing only a rewrite program, a USB port 7 for obtaining a new program for update from the outside, and a CPU 30 for using either the rewrite program of the main area or the rewrite program of the subarea to update the main area or the subarea by the new program obtained from the USB port 7.
