PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque transmission device with a toothed belt and a pulley comprising a toothing jump detecting mechanism for detecting the floatation amount of the belt face to directly specify toothing jump. SOLUTION: The torque transmission device driven by the toothed belt and the pulley comprises a belt toothing jump detecting mechanism using a microswitch whose position relative to the rotating shaft of the pulley is not shifted by a load for detecting the floatation of the belt which is caused during toothing jump when exceeding predetermined torque.
