PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding cassette, achieving a smaller number of parts and a lower cost in simple structure, in which sheets of a plurality of different sizes can be loaded while carrying force of paper feeding rollers is constant regardless of the size of sheet materials. SOLUTION: In the paper feeding cassette, a projection that is elastically deformable is provided at a part of an intermediate plate 2 on which sheet materials are loaded for pushing up the intermediate plate 2 toward a feed roller 6. In the paper feeding cassette, in which sheet members of different sizes can be set, a projection that is elastically deformable is provided at a part of a side guide member for regulating a side surface part of the sheet materials for pushing the intermediate plate 2 toward the feed roller 6, and a guide part is provided on the intermediate plate to be capable of adjusting elastic deformation quantity of the projection in accordance with the set position of the side guide member.
