PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment structure for a battery pack in which the battery back 9 is firmly fixed to a battery pack accepting section 4 provided in a handle housing section 3, and the weight of the battery pack accepting section 4 is reduced in a portable electric tool 1. SOLUTION: The battery pack accepting section 4 of the electric tool 1 is structured of a cabinet forming a battery storing chamber for storing the battery pack 9, and at least one inserting slot 4f1 (or 4f2) for inserting the battery pack 9 is opened in the front surface of the cabinet 4.
