The present invention relates to a multilayer material comprising at least the following sequence of layers: a) a gas-barrier layer based on EVOH; b) an adhesion-promoter layer based at least one anhydride-modified polymer; c) an oxygen-absorber layer composed of at least one polymeric, non- particulate oxygen absorber, where the total thickness of the adhesion-promoter layer(s) is preferably at least approximately 10 mum, and also to a process for their production, and to their use.
