A folding device of a vehicle seat is provided to save management cost by simplifying a device for keeping a vehicle seat in a stable state in the case of folding and unfolding of the seat. In a folding device of a vehicle seat(10), whose front lower portion is hinged to a supporter fixed on the floor and rear lower portion is formed to fasten a latch(16) to a striker(18) of the floor so as to enable the seat to be double-folded, the folding device of the vehicle seat comprises: a hinge bracket(120) whose side walls are upwardly bent and a lower surface fixed on the floor, a guide plate(130) fixed to a seat cushion frame of the seat, which is equipped with a guide hole is formed along a horizontal direction of the seat frame, a support rod(110) whose one end is hinged to the bracket, the other end is hinged to the guide plate so as to slide along the guide plate and an elastic portion transmitting elastic force to the support rod hinged to the hinge bracket in a direction of unfolding the seat. |
