FIELD: heat power engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chimney-type evaporating aerodynamic cooling towers. Proposed aerodynamic cooling tower contains evaporating tower and air guide shields with rough surface, wind wheel with vertical axle of rotation and generator connected with axle, all arranged inside tower at its base. Axis of wind wheel coincides with axis of evaporating tower, and blades of wind wheel are arranged and rotate in area of inlet ports of tower. ^ EFFECT: increased thermal efficiency of aerodynamic cooling tower. ^ 2 dwg
