<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication control method and a base station using the same, capable of eliminating degradation in reception quality, and capable of improving utilization efficiency of a wireless resource. <P>SOLUTION: A base station to which a plurality of wireless communication terminals are connected assigns a transmission band for uplink communication to respective wireless communication terminals. The base station receives signals transmitted from the wireless communication terminals on a known transmission power, and measures the reception power. It selects a wireless communication terminal of which the reception power is least as a reference terminal. A difference is calculated between the reception power of each wireless communication terminal and that of the reference terminal. Each wireless communication terminal is notified of a new transmission power which is smaller than the current transmission power by that difference. The wireless communication terminal to which the new transmission power is notified is assigned with a transmission band that is wider than the transmission band assigned to the reference terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
