<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube type fuel cell having current collecting structure capable of collecting current in the crossing direction to the axis at right angle in an outside current collector of a unit cell constituting the tube type fuel cell, shortening the current collecting distance, and reducing resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The tube type fuel cell has a tube-shaped unit cell formed by stacking an inside current collector, a first catalyst electrode layer, an electrolyte membrane, a second catalyst electrode layer, and an outside current collector in order from the inside crossing at right angles to the axis, and a cell case housing two or more unit cells by bundling in parallel, and the two or more unit cells housed in the cell case in parallel are electrically contacted through at least a part on the outer peripheral surface of the outside current collector of the unit cell, and current is collected in the direction crossing at right angles to the axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
