<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install only a licensed application to communication equipment or a printer to which the communication equipment is being connected. <P>SOLUTION: The communication equipment has: a means for receiving an application program having predetermined functions and identification information corresponding to the application program; a means for acquiring identification information about a connected data processing terminal; a first installation means for installing the application program when the identification information corresponding to the application program matched with identification information of the communication equipment and a second installation means for installing the application program and storing the identification information when the identification information corresponding to the application program is matched with the identification program of the data processing terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
