PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid-filled vibration damper which can prevent cavitation in the case of a large amplitude vibration, and can keep high damping property even in the case of a small amplitude vibration. SOLUTION: In the vibration damper, stoppers 14 do not come into contact with a diaphragm member 12 and do not suppress the deformation of the diaphragm member 12 in the case of a small amplitude vibration (A) which causes a small deformation of the diaphragm member 12. Therefore, a resonance effect by an orifice passage 10c is fully added, and the high damping property can be kept. The stoppers 14 come into contact with the diaphragm member 12 and suppress the deformation of the diaphragm member 12 in the case of a large amplitude vibration (B) which causes a large deformation of the diaphragm member 12. Therefore, the pressure in the pressure receiving chamber 16 can be increased, and the large reduction of the pressure in the pressure receiving chamber 16 can be prevented even in the following expanding state of the pressure receiving chamber 16.
