<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device capable of performing route search in consideration of a smart interchange. <P>SOLUTION: When a destination is set, a CPU calculates the present position (S1), determines whether one's own vehicle is in the state where an ETC can be utilized or not (S2), and when determined that one's own vehicle is in the state where the ETC can be utilized, performs route search from the present position to the destination by using roads including a road passing the smart interchange as objects (S3), and on the contrary, when determined that one's own vehicle is not in the state where the ETC can be utilized, performs route search from the present position to the destination by using a road excluding the road passing the smart interchange as the object (S4). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
