<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system in relation to the assembling of a rotary machine, especially for sealing a bleeding cavity of a steam turbine. <P>SOLUTION: A turbine 10 includes an annular casing 24, an annular nozzle carrier 210 arranged radially inwardly from a casing so that a cavity 300 is defined between the nozzle carrier and the casing, a flange 352 from at least one of the front edge 350 of the annular casing and the front edge 362 of the nozzle carrier, and a seal ring 358 positioned between the flange and at least one of the nozzle carrier and the casing and extending between the nozzle carrier and the casing so that the seal ring seals the cavity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
