<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative dye-containing curable composition which is capable of forming a rectangular fine pattern with high sensitivity and achieves high in-plane uniformity of a film in coating. <P>SOLUTION: The negative dye-containing curable composition contains the dye, a photopolymerization initiator and a radical polymerizable monomer, wherein a compound represented by formula (1) is used as the photopolymerization initiator.
