<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finger pinch prevention device with excellent design, which can also adapt to diverse doors and diverse hinges, which can be easily replaced in height adjustment, breakage, etc. and which can be mounted not only on a new door but also on an existing door, and a door structure which is equipped with the finger pinch prevention device. <P>SOLUTION: When the door is opened or closed, the finger pinch prevention device prevents fingers from being pinched in a gap which is made between a hinge-side jamb of a door frame or an auxiliary member for a jamb and the hinge side of the door. The finger pinch prevention device comprises a cover material 2 for covering the gap, a covering-material holding portion 1 for covering the gap and holding the covering material 2, and a mounting portion 20 which is mounted on the hinge-side jamb or the auxiliary member for the jamb so as to turnably connect the cover-material holding portion 1. The covering material 2 is connected in the state of being sandwiched between the holding portions 1 and 1 which are arranged in positions above and below the covering material 2, respectively.
