<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle traveling controller capable of suppressing imparting of stop holding braking force to an its own vehicle immediately after the start of the its own vehicle, and vehicle traveling control method. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle traveling controller 1-1 comprises a stop holding control part 22 for performing stop holding control for imparting the stop holding braking force to the its own vehicle by a brake device 8, an accelerator pedal 6 for canceling the stop holding control, imparting start driving force to the its own vehicle by an engine 9 and starting the its own vehicle, and an accelerator pedal sensor 7 for detecting driver's intention to start. The vehicle traveling controller 1-1 inhibits the stop holding control by the stop holding control part 22 for prescribed time after the intention to start is no longer detected after detecting driver's intention to start by the accelerator pedal sensor 7, that is after canceling the stop holding control, when starting the its own vehicle during the stop holding control by the stop holding control part 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
