PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal belongings confirmation system which enables a user to properly check whether the user forgets something or not when going out. SOLUTION: The personal belongings checking system includes: a prescribed personal belongings information acquisition means which acquires information about prescribed personal belongings which the user is apt to forget when going out, as prescribed belongings information; and a personal belongings confirmation list generation means which generates a personal belongings confirmation list on the basis of the prescribed personal belongings information acquired by the prescribed personal belongings information acquisition means and a preliminarily generated personal belongings list peculiar to the user.
