PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna system wherein a chip antenna can easily and accurately be aligned when mounted on a circuit board. SOLUTION: The antenna system 1 is configured by mounting the chip antenna 2 formed by winding belt-like radiation conductors 5 on an outer circumferential face of a base body 4 of nearly a quadratic prism shape onto the circuit board (e.g. an antenna board) 3 with a recessed notch part 8 formed at one side end, and prescribed parts of the radiation conductors 5 are joined to a transmission line 10 or the like of the circuit board 3 by soldered. A pair of side edges 8b of the notch part 8 is opposed to each other at a distance nearly equal to a longitudinal length of the base body 4, and when the chip antenna 2 is assembled with the circuit board 3, the chip antenna 2 is aligned by fitting part of the base body 4 in the notch part 8. For example, in the case of the chip antenna 2 wherein a groove 7 is provided to the base body 4, a part adjacent to a close end edge 8a of the circuit board 3 is inserted in the groove 7, and a groove neighboring part 5d of the radiation conductor 5 has only to be arranged to upper and lower parts of a throughhole conductor 9 of the circuit board 3.
