PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for constantly producing a polycarbonate resin composition excellent in flame retardancy. SOLUTION: The flame retardant resin composition provided herein contains a polycarbonate resin and inorganic particles, in which the inorganic particles contain a particle containing a complex of silicon dioxide and aluminum oxide and the D<SB>50</SB>particle size of the inorganic particles is 10μm or less. Preferably, the inorganic particles contain aluminum oxide particles and silicon dioxide particles in addition to the particles containing the above complex.
