PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution capable of immediately and certainly detecting that a roll sheet wound on a winding core is drawn out from the winding core to a terminal end having a simply, inexpensively executable constitution in a roll sheet conveying device. SOLUTION: A motor control circuit 83 drives an LF motor 60 through a motor driver 84 according to instruction from CPU 80. An LF roller is rotated by this and rotatably retained roll paper is drawn out/conveyed from the winding core. A drive current value of the LF motor 60 is detected by a motor current value detection circuit 85 during conveying action, and a detection signal is inputted to the CPU 80. The CPU 80 monitors the drive current value and detects that the roll sheet is drawn out to the terminal end when variation of the drive current value corresponding to specific variation of the drive current value according to variation of drive load of the LF motor 60 when the roll sheet is drawn out from above the winding core to the terminal end is generated.
