The device has a sensor (3) for the collection of assigned hole by the shafts (1,2), and an electronic controller for the evaluation of the seized sensor signals. The sensor is arranged between the shaft and hole to seize both shafts. The hole of edges changes signals of the sensor. A rising face of the sensor signal is provided for the phase position of the shaft, and a falling face of the sensor signal for measuring phase position of the other shaft is also provided.
