<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device for a vehicle capable of appropriately adjusting belt tension by appropriately controlling sending of a belt during disengagement of a clutch and of suppressing rapid fluctuation of the belt tension by a retractor having the clutch for switching connection/disconnection of power transmission between a motor and a belt reel. <P>SOLUTION: The seat belt device 10 is provided with the belt reel 22 around with the belt 13 is wound; the motor 23 for driving the belt reel 22; the clutch 24A for connecting or disconnecting a space between the motor 23 and the belt reel 22 in accordance with the rotating state of the motor 23; rotating angle detection means (25, 110) for detecting change of a rotating angle of the belt reel 22; and a control device 26 for controlling current carrying to the motor 23 and sending/winding up the belt 13 based on a rotating angle detection signal. The control device 26 has a winding up mode for driving the belt reel 22 to the winding direction and a clutch disengagement mode for sending predetermined amount of the belt 13 by driving the motor 23 to an extent that the clutch 24A is not disengaged and then, disengaging the clutch 24A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
