<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely suppress an upper limb part from being pressed to a berry part or chest part of an occupant by contacting of an airbag with the upper limb part of the occupant. <P>SOLUTION: A seam 23 for restricting inflation in the vehicle width direction is formed on a portion of the airbag 22 corresponding to the berry part of the occupant P in the vertical direction of a vehicle in inflating of the airbag 22. A recessed part 25a is formed on the peripheral edge part 25 of the airbag 22 so that the part corresponding to the upper limb part Pa of the occupant P is recessed in the seam par 23 side in the vertical direction of the vehicle during inflating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
