<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to restrict spending of electronic money to an appropriate purpose. <P>SOLUTION: Electronic money cards 6 (Figure 1) are grouped, and classification codes showing the respective groups are stored in the electronic money cards 6. The classification codes of the electronic money cards 6 permitting settlement processing are stored in an electronic money terminal 8. The electronic money terminal 8 reads the classification code of the electronic money card 6 when accessing the electronic money card 6 for settlement processing, and compares it with the classification code stored in itself. The electronic money terminal 8 communicates with the electronic money card 6 to carry out settlement processing when both are coincident, and issues an error message without carrying out settlement processing when both are not coincident. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
