PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio apparatus which can fully utilize a storage means to be used as a shock-proof memory for other than the playback of the disk. SOLUTION: The audio apparatus 10 having a plurality of different sound source sections, each including a disk driving section 11, is equipped with the storage means 15 storing a signal output from each sound source section, and control means 17, 18 for controlling writing/reading of the signal to/from the storage means 15. In reproducing a disk, the control means 17, 18 perform control so as to write the signal read out from the disk 1 at a speed higher than a normal playback speed to the storage means 15, meanwhile, when not reproducing the disk, they perform control so as to write the signal output from other sound source section (tuner part) 19 excluding the disk driving section 11, to the storage means 15.
