The invention relates to bioengineering, in particular to a method for producing a mixture of amino acids and lower peptides from yeast autolysates. The inventive method consists in carrying out a yeast autolysis, in separating cell envelopes by centrifuging and in purifying the thus obtained autolisate on ionites, wherein the ionite is embodied in the form of a hydrogen-form gel sulphocation containing 12-16% divinylbenzene in the form of a crosslinking agent.
