A heat sink for a humidifier and a surface coating method thereof are provided to attach or coat a corrosion-preventing layer on a surface of the heat sink via a thermally sprayed coating layer for increasing the attaching/coating strength of the corrosion-preventing layer, thereby preventing cavitation of the surface of the heat sink. A heat sink for a humidifier includes a first coating layer(38a) thermally sprayed on a surface of the heat sink, and a second coating layer(38b) coated on the surface of the first coating layer. The first coating layer is made of powder mixed with one or more of stainless steel, titanium, and titanium-oxide. The second coating layer is made of one of ceramic or fluororesin, or mixture thereof.
