<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system comprising a base unit and a plurality of portable handsets connected to a common communication line, in which the receiving level of signals from the base unit, in each portable handset, can be easily confirmed. <P>SOLUTION: In the communication system adapted to perform transmitting and receiving of signal between the base unit 1 and the plurality of portable handset 10 (10a-10d) connected to the common communication line 5 through the communication line 5, each portable handset 10 comprises a receiving level detection means detecting a receiving level of signal; a signal identification means receiving base unit signal Mr (Mr1-Mr2) output from the base unit 1 while identifying it from portable handset signals Sa (Sa1-Sa4) output from the other portable handsets 10; and a means displaying, upon receipt of the base unit signal Mr by the signal identification means, the receiving level of the base unit signal Mr detected by the receiving level detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
