PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone terminal device that makes it possible to grasp a communication carrier that an opposite station is using and usable communication functions on the local-station terminal even when a communication carrier that the opposite stationis using is changed after service of number portability is applied. SOLUTION: The mobile phone terminal device secures a line for communicating with another station through a predetermined wireless base station by using telephone numbers to respective stations in advance, and is provided with a carrier information transmitting means 21 of holding local-station carrier information for discriminating a communication carrier providing communication service for the local station and sending the local station carrier information to the opposite station at the time of origination or termination of or during a telephone call and an opposite-station carrier information receiving means 30 of receiving opposite-station carrier information for discriminating a communication carrier providing communication service for the opposite station from the opposite station and storing the opposite-station carrier information while making it correspond to the telephone number of the opposite station.
