PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for preventing damage in a system in which a computer is connected to a communication apparatus connected to the public line, from a situation that the computer is infected with a malicious virus, to thereby connect the computer to the communication apparatus in a foreign country or a malicious Q<SP>2</SP>trader. SOLUTION: The system comprises a computer connected to the internet, a communication apparatus connected to the public line and the computer, and a means for storing specific calling signals; compares a calling signal inputted to the communication apparatus from the computer with the specific calling signal stored in the specific calling signal storing means of the communication apparatus; and, if the calling signal inputted to the communication apparatus from the computer agrees with the specific calling signal stored in the specific calling signal storing means of the communication apparatus, disconnects the communication apparatus from the public line, based on the calling signal inputted to the communication apparatus from the computer.
