PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink structure having a clip fixed to a heating element such as a CPU and facilitating an assembly. SOLUTION: A heat sink 10 is composed of radiation fins 11, a heat transfer pipe 21, a base seat 13 tightly sticking to the heating element and transferring a heat, and the clips 20 for a mounting. A pair of pressurizing members 22 are fitted to the clips in a U shape, and the clips are inserted and fixed to inserting slits 112 formed to the radiation fins. The clips fixed on both sides of the heat sink have downward bent elastic arms 23 and clips 233 mounting engaging holes or the like at the front ends of the elastic arms respectively, and engaged with engaging members fitted on the substrate side loading the heating element. Since the clips are fixed and treated integrally to the heat sink, the clips are not lost and are assembled easily. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
