A method of operation of gas water heaters is in control of modes of fuel burning and energy transfer to heat carrier through formation of unit heat pulse. The heat pulse is formed after water flows through two heat exchange modules that are put into operation by it in opposite with respect to direction of water flow sequence, simultaneously mechanical pulse of cold water motion is generated, this acts on executive mechanism that in forced way supplies heated with smoke gases air to second in direction of water flow module.
