STRUCTURE FOR SUPPORTING RETAINING WALL OF EARTH WITH ARCH MATERIAL AND METHOD CONSTRUCTING THE ARCH STRUCTURE

An earth retaining wall timbering structure using a horizontal arch type structural material is provided to support an earth retaining wall, to secure working space, to perform excavation work with excavation equipment and soil conveying work effectively, to make construction simple and to shorten a period of construction. An earth retaining wall timbering structure using a horizontal arch type structural material is formed by connecting/fixing one end of a strut(12) with a wale(11) of an earth retaining wall(10) and supporting the other end of the strut to a support beam(13a) of a post pile(14), installing a support beam(13b) to one side of the post pile and installing an arch type horizontal structural material(100) on the support beam, thereby supporting horizontal earth pressure by the axial force of the arch type horizontal structural material and forming a working space widely. A construction method of an earth retaining wall timbering structure using a horizontal arch type structural material comprises the steps of: installing an earth retaining wall and a post pile in the earth; excavating the ground to the installation depth of a first horizontal arch type structure material; installing a piece bracket(15b) and support beams to the post pile; installing the first horizontal arch type structural material on the support beam; excavating the ground to the installation depth of a second horizontal arch type structure material; installing a piece bracket and support beams to the post pile; installing the second horizontal arch type structural material on the support beam; and repeating above mentioned steps.
