FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves putting die into the cavity of the object with provision for a ring shaped gap between the die and the object. The object is immovably installed in a press mould, equipped with an immovable guide rod. Powder of polymer material is filled into the press mould. The die is put in line with the guide rod. The assembled press mould is heated in an oven to temperature of 20-30°C above the melting temperature of the polymer at a rate of 10-15°C/min. The press mould is removed from the oven and the die is loaded with pressure of 15-20 MPa for a period of 10-15 minutes. The product is then cooled together with the press mould at room temperature. ^ EFFECT: increased strength of joining polymer coating with metallic surface and higher efficiency and accuracy of manufacturing. ^ 4 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
