A driving device, an image display system, and a method for controlling a common voltage are provided to enhance image quality of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device by adjusting automatically common voltages. A driving device includes a detecting unit(250) and a common voltage outputting unit(260). The detecting unit, which is enabled by a start signal, detects first and second charge voltages charged in the same pixel in first and second frames, and converts the detected voltages into digital typed first and second charge signals. The common voltage outputting unit receives the first and second charge signals, and outputs common voltages as an average value of the first and second charge voltages.
