An input device of a refrigerator using an optical sensor is provided to judge a button input location and a selection signal by interruption of an optical signal to reduce production cost while improving the productivity. A display displays at least one or more button areas(14a). The display includes a display part(12) displaying the button areas electrically and a button part(14) having printed button areas around the display part. An optical sensor part recognizes selection of a user to the button areas of the display by interruption of an optical signal, and transmits a selection signal to a control unit. The optical sensor part includes a plurality of light emitting parts(22) generating optical signals, a plurality of light receiving parts(24) receiving optical signals, and a button area recognizing unit recognizing optical signal interrupted by selection of the user to transmit a selection signal to the control unit.
