BROADCASTING RECEIVING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

A broadcasting receiving apparatus and a control method thereof are provided to process and output a contents voice signal corresponding to contents information, thereby providing convenience and enjoyment to a user and realizing new contents. A broadcasting receiving apparatus includes a contents voice processing unit(222), a control unit(300), and a demultiplexer(210). The contents voice processing unit processes and outputs a contents voice signal based on contents information. The control unit controls the contents voice processing unit to output the contents voice signal when the output of the contents information is selected. The control unit controls the demultiplexer to separate the contents information from a broadcasting signal when the broadcasting signal is received and to adjust the magnitude of a contents voice signal.
