A torque converter for a hybrid vehicle is provided to improve performance and efficiency of the torque converter by using two impellers driven by an engine and a motor separately. A torque converter(1) is comprised of first and second impellers(3,5), a turbine(7), and a stator(9). The first impeller is driven by an engine. The second impeller configures a driven gear along an outer circumference of the turbine between the first impeller and the turbine. The driven gear is engaged with a drive gear mounted on a rotational shaft of a motor to receive rotatory force by power of the motor. A ball bearing supported by a connection rod is disposed between an inner circumference of the second impeller and an outer circumference of the stator. The second impeller is configured by disposing a metal bearing for keeping airtightness on both ends of the second impeller and between ends of the first impeller and the turbine.
